Picture a couple, elbows straight out, dancing close together, moving almost like one, BUT they swing their legs in tight maneuvers slipping their leg between the legs of their partner. It is very effective and choreographed very tightly. Their demeanor is serious, concentrated, and occasional eye to eye contact. Remember, it takes two to tango.
Now picture a solo dancer, standing very proud, hands on hips, eyes toward the ceiling, castanets tapping out a fast rhythm, and guitars are playing a rapid beat. The dancer (man or woman) swirls about, stomping their feet to the floor. Sometimes stopping like a statue, breathing hard, then again with twirling, stomping, looking very proud and superior.
